Hold Me Tight
In this series I explore my complex feelings about aging. By photographing myself several times then stitching the images together, the series revisits my younger self in carefully staged scenes, blending nostalgia and reconciliation as I confront the passage of time.
The Thing With Feathers
The Thing With Feathers explores the intertwined nature of hope and desire, drawing on metaphors like feathers and shadows. Inspired by Emily Dickinson and Jacques Lacan, the series delves into longing for what is just out of reach, blurring the line between reality and want.
Surfacing
After a difficult period in my life, I found solace in the tranquil Finnish landscape. Imagery from daily hikes provided a backdrop for forming connections.
How Things Are
As an extension of myself, my home houses my anxieties and fears, forcing me to confront my true self daily. From a broken vase to spilled milk or a drain caked in soap scum, the chaos of everyday life serves as a canvas for exploring the subtle moments where the internal and external collide.
